The Bulgari Resort in Dubai is one of six exquisite hotels and resorts originated by the Italian luxury goods brand.
Situated on Jumeira Bay, a man-made island shaped like a seahorse, the sunlit property is crafted in characteristically sophisticated design by the Milan-based architectural firm, Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. It is a project designed for the company Meraas Development.
One of the most distinguishing features of this 52,000m² development is the facade’s coral-pattern sunscreens that cast intricate shadows onto the main building. The light and shadow play complements the elaborate design of the balustrades. These enclose overlapping wooden terraces which open onto the resort’s spectacular views.
The theme of the luxurious complex is “Mediterranean Village”. Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel architects designed the luxury complex, made up of 101 rooms and suites and 20 beachfront villas with private pools and sea-facing terraces. Each room is decorated with elegant designer touches. Vintage trunk minibars, handcrafted Italian furniture, and silk-covered walls. Right outside, adjacent to the promenade, is a private marina featuring 50 berths and Bulgari’s first yacht club.
The Bulgari Resort, Dubai boasts a vast range of extravagant facilities. It includes Il Ristorante, by Niko Romito, a unique oval-shaped bar, a chocolate boutique, a spa, a pool, fitness facilities, as well as the exclusive La Spiaggia beach. Valuable and exclusive materials, such as Iranian green onyx and Mongolian black granite, are featured throughout the interior. The look is further refined by exquisite Bulgari creations and nautical artworks. Lavish gardens enclose and beautify the resort, with a variety of Mediterranean flora.
AluK MEA is proud to have been an integral part of this project. The success of the construction was made possible, in part, by our aluminium building systems, including windows, doors, and lift-and-slide doors. These allows guests and visitors to enjoy the magnificent views of this exotic development.
